Former President Jakaya Kikwete rolled up to Mkwawa University College of Education in Iringa and handed out degrees to over a thousand graduates while serving as the University of Dar es Salaam Chancellor. Seven students copped their master's degrees with Joyce Dismas and three others getting Master of Science with Education while Mbazi Senkondo and Joseph Luoga bagged Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling and John Josephat scored Master of Arts with Education.
The bachelor squad was way bigger with 565 people grabbing Bachelor of Arts with Education and another 365 walking away with Bachelor of Education in Science plus 334 more getting Bachelor of Science with Education. Lekishin Koipa absolutely demolished everyone with a 4.8 grade point average and snatched the Certificate of Excellence for being the top performer out of all the graduates.
