Kaizer Chiefs will face Siwelele in the Carling Knockout quarter-finals

Kaizer Chiefs have landed a home tie with Siwelele in the Carling Knockout Cup last eight. The draw in Durban gave Amakhosi a chance to reach the semis, and they head into the clash after a solid win over TS Galaxy.

Wandile Duba had quite a game at FNB Stadium. The Chiefs striker hit a hat-trick, with all three goals coming from him in a 3-0 win. Not a bad way to keep a cup run going.

Siwelele had a far more tense path through. Polokwane City pushed them all the way, and the tie had to be settled on penalties. They came through the shootout and kept their hopes of a trophy alive.

But Chiefs won't want to take the next game lightly. One good result doesn't mean the next round will be easy, and Siwelele have already shown they can get through a tight contest.

Fans still need to keep an eye out for the final ground details and tickets. The Premier Soccer League has yet to share the full match setup, even though the cup schedule has been mapped out.

Elsewhere, Stellenbosch FC drew AmaZulu, while Orlando Pirates got Sekhukhune United. Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Golden Arrows, which leaves four ties on the card.

Pirates have another reason to feel confident. They hold the title after a 1-0 win against Marumo Gallants in the last final, and they'll be back to defend it.

For Chiefs, much of the attention will be on Duba after that treble. If he keeps finding the net, Amakhosi could have a real shot at reaching the next stage. But Siwelele still has a say in that.
