Kajiado pupils face daily attacks from bees, snakes, and buffaloes

Thousands of angry bees have turned a Kenyan school into a war zone and sent kids running for cover. Oloolarroi Primary School students found themselves locked out of classrooms when the buzzing invaders took over their Grade 3 room. Teachers and pupils spent their day building emergency beehives instead of hitting the books. Several students got stung along with teacher Clare who teaches the younger children. Young Immanuel Lechi suffered painful facial swelling after getting attacked by the fierce insects.

The school sits right in the middle of dangerous wildlife territory where elephants and buffaloes regularly crash lessons. Deadly snakes slither around the playground putting everyone at risk during their daily walks to school. Temperatures soar between 36 and 39 degrees making the harsh learning conditions even worse for students. Headmaster Frederick revealed that wild animals disrupt classes almost every single day. The bee problem has been terrorizing the school for two whole years alongside elephant invasions.

Hot weather creates perfect breeding conditions for the aggressive bee colonies that have made the school their new home. Students learned survival skills and bee removal techniques instead of regular subjects during the chaotic day. The educational nightmare continues as teachers struggle to find ways of removing the dangerous insects from their building. Rural schools face these extreme challenges while trying to provide basic education to local children.
