Kampala's Protea Hotel $130 rooms exclude regular Ugandans

Uganda prepares to welcome hundreds of Africa's hottest travel content creators for a massive conference. The third annual Africa Travel Content Creator Conference lands in Kampala during October. Taste of Africa Vibes runs the event and boasts more than 67,000 members worldwide. Digital storytellers will gather at Protea Skys Hotel to swap secrets about promoting African tourism. The hotel offers special rates of $130 per night for visiting guests.

Content creators, tourism boards, brands, and media outlets will pack the three-day conference. Organizers expect over 200 people to attend the event themed around creative African content. Tickets cost 180,000 Ugandan shillings with early bird pricing at 150,000 shillings. The price covers all activities and performances during the gathering. Precious Gumisiriza, known as The Mukiga Traveller, calls it a huge platform for networking.

Digital storytelling workshops and content creation training sessions will dominate the schedule. Local businesses plan to collaborate with international creators during the conference. Tourism boards want to team up with influencers to reach global audiences on social media platforms. The event aims to boost Kampala's reputation as a top travel destination while supporting sustainable tourism. Sponsors from hotels, travel companies and telecom providers can promote their brands to worldwide audiences.
