Karonga, Barracks Ready to Blow Up TNM Standings

Two soccer games take place today across Malawi. Rockies Ekhaya FC plays against Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium, and Creck Sporting Club meets Kamuzu Barracks FC at Mponela. Fans will watch these matches with great interest as teams battle for league positions. The race for the top scorer will also continue.

Three teams hope to move past Wanderers in the standings today. Karonga United sits third with 9 points and needs a 2-0 win to reach second place. Ekhaya FC also has 9 points but requires a 4-0 victory to climb higher. Kamuzu Barracks could also jump to second with a 2-0 win against Creck. Ekhaya has won all home games this season. Karonga defeated Dedza Dynamos 4-0 in their last match.

Harry Saidi is Creck Sporting Club's new temporary coach today. The team suspended Joseph Kamwendo after losing to Mighty Wanderers. Kamwendo won just one game during his four months as head coach. Saidi might keep the job permanently if his team performs well. Zeliati Nkhoma from Kamuzu Barracks tied with Babatunde Adepoju for most goals this season, at five each.
