Some actors just cry at everything, apparently. Kate Hudson said she is an easy crier, getting teary at least every other day, especially when discussing her new movie Song Sung Blue with co-star Hugh Jackman. The film, directed by Craig Brewer, tells the true story of a couple who form a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning & Thunder. Hudson revealed her whole family, including mom Goldie Hawn and brother Oliver Hudson, are emotional criers, though not necessarily her dad Kurt Russell or brother Wyatt. She even admitted that sentimental posts about kids on social media can set her off.
Speaking at an awards event, both actors praised each other heavily. Hudson called Jackman's superpower his desire to connect with everyone on set. Jackman said working with Hudson, who balances preparation with instinct, made him a better actor despite his long career. He stated no one walks that fine line better than she does.
