Kennesaw, Ga., Boonkait Sudhasirikul's Raid Defend meatballs

Authorities arrested a Georgia resident after he attempted to contaminate his roommate's food with insecticide. Police responded to a domestic dispute between two men sharing a residence in Kennesaw during late August. The potential victim detected unusual chemical odors emanating from his air fryer while preparing meatballs. Tensions between the roommates prompted him to secretly record kitchen activities with a hidden camera. Officers discovered footage showing 34-year-old Boonkait Sudhasirikul entering the cooking area carrying a red aerosol container.

Video evidence revealed Sudhasirikul directing spray toward the air fryer basket before departing quickly. Investigators located a matching Raid Defend Roach and Ant spray canister in the dining area. The contaminated air fryer retained strong chemical odors and became evidence in the case. Police apprehended Sudhasirikul outside the home without resistance. He faces aggravated assault charges while detained at Cobb County Adult Detention Center. The intended victim avoided harm because he never consumed the tainted food.
