Anupam Kher and Boman Irani hung out for dinner, and they basically confirmed that Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is happening when they meet up again in January. The sequel got the green light from producer Savita Raj Hiremath, but Dibakar Banerjee stepped away from directing duties this time around.
Umesh Bisht is taking over behind the camera instead. Kher, Irani, and Ranvir Shorey are all coming back for their original parts. Huma Qureshi was supposed to star, but she apparently bailed on the project.
The first movie had Kher playing a middle-class Delhi guy trying to get his property back from a sketchy builder that Irani portrayed. That film got remade in Tamil and Kannada because it connected with audiences.
