Klang brawl at Bukit Tinggi, Honda City, and Proton Gen 2, Kamalariffin

Authorities have launched an investigation into a violent altercation between drivers that occurred at the Persiaran Batu Nilam traffic lights in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, on Thursday, September 11. The incident gained widespread attention after footage circulated across social media platforms. South Klang deputy police chief Supt Kamalariffin Aman Shah confirmed that a 39-year-old complainant filed a report at 4:52 pm following the 1:13 pm confrontation.

The sequence began when a Proton Gen 2 reversed into a Honda City at the intersection, prompting its occupants to exit their vehicle and confront the Honda driver. Physical violence erupted as the Proton driver seized the complainant around the throat, leading to a struggle that continued until bystanders separated the combatants. Medical personnel treated the Honda driver for minor wounds to his extremities and neck area at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital.

Police seek witnesses and encourage anyone with relevant details to contact South Klang headquarters at 03-33762222. The investigation proceeds under Section 323 of the Penal Code, which prescribes a maximum penalty of one year in prison plus monetary fines for assault charges.
