Fifteen students from Islamic University in Kushtia filed harassment charges against classmate Jannatul Mawa Sneha from the Public Administration department. The complainants alleged Sneha fabricated multiple Facebook profiles using their identities to distribute harmful content. Fourteen female students and one male student reported psychological damage from the alleged misconduct. Police examination of Sneha's mobile device reportedly revealed fake accounts and manipulated images.
The victims submitted formal documentation to the university's anti-harassment panel on Tuesday. Students claimed the fabricated material harmed their reputations and mental wellbeing. Professor Begum Roksana Mili leads the committee responsible for investigating such cases. The academic institution must address these allegations to prevent future incidents on campus.
