Liquid Freezer III Pro Gets Cooler and More Efficient

Let's break down ARCTIC's latest cooling solution for computer enthusiasts. The Liquid Freezer III Pro all-in-one CPU water cooler offers some serious upgrades. They're kicking things off with a 360mm radiator, and plans are to roll out 240mm, 280mm, and 420mm versions later this year.

The new cooler keeps some familiar elements from its predecessor, like the 32mm thick radiator and a special fan for cooling voltage regulators. But ARCTIC didn't just rest on its laurels. They've tweaked the cold plate to spread pressure more evenly and gave the pump cover's logo a slight reflectivity makeover.

The most notable improvement comes with the fans. They've swapped out the old five-blade P12 for a beefier seven-blade P12 Pro. These new fans are absolute beasts, spinning from 600 to 3000 RPM and pushing a maximum airflow of 77 CFM with a static pressure of 6.9 mmH₂O. Compared to the previous model's 56.30 CFM and 2.2 mmH₂O, it's a massive leap in cooling performance.

ARCTIC's made sure the Liquid Freezer III Pro plays nice with multiple platforms. It supports Intel's LGA 1851 and LGA 1700 sockets, plus AMD's AM5 and AM4. They've even thrown in pre-applied MX-6 thermal paste and backed the whole thing with a six-year warranty. Pricing starts around $102 for the matte black version, climbing to about $121 for the black ARGB and $124 for the white ARGB model.
