A transparency advocacy group accused the Human Rights Defenders Coalition of abandoning its oversight role during the five years of the previous government administration before criticizing current authorities. The Leadership Institute for Transparency and Accountability stated through Executive Director Goodwell Logeya that the coalition lost credibility by aligning with political forces whose policies contributed to ongoing fuel, water and electricity shortages.
