Loopcloud 8 update brings intelligent discovery tools and iOS support. Loopmasters upgraded their sample platform with Inspire and Listen features for producers. Inspire generates track starting points by assembling genre-specific arrangements of samples and chords. Listen analyzes existing audio to find harmonically compatible content using updated matching algorithms.
Natural language search accepts descriptive phrases like warm analog bassline or vinyl crackle drums. Results filter by instrument plus genre and mood or artist references easily. Five new effects join the sample editor, including Gator rhythmic gating and BPM-synced Looper. Utility handles gain and stereo width while Chorus adds modulation depth and Bitcrush delivers digital distortion.
Flip remix tool now contains 2000 presets after adding 1000 new ones organized by sound type. MIDI library expanded to over 125000 files with 8000 drum patterns included. Preview engine automatically loads appropriate instruments when auditioning melodic or percussive content. Six fresh genre-specific drum kits plus additional melodic instruments ship with this release.
PLAY instrument gains five effects and direct sample importing for user recordings. DRUM pattern generator considers tags instead of random selection for better suggestions. First-ever iOS app enables browsing plus idea generation and collection syncing with desktop accounts. Android version remains in development without confirmed release timing yet.
Subscribers now access Producertech course library containing 400 plus hours of video tutorials. Monthly plugin promotion partners with Baby Audio and Tone Empire plus Rhodes and Beatsurfing. Up to 12 free plugins per year are claimable anytime during annual subscription periods. Pricing starts at $10.95 monthly with four months free on yearly plans and 14 day trials available.
