Lynn locks in, vows six-frenzy for Adelaide's BBL charge

Adelaide Strikers secured Australian opener Chris Lynn for a complete Big Bash League campaign. The 35-year-old batsman committed to his fourth consecutive season with the franchise. Lynn recently demolished Northamptonshire with an unbeaten 108 from 51 deliveries for Hampshire. His innings featured eleven sixes and powered his team to T20 Blast semi-final victory. Previous seasons saw Lynn depart early for ILT20 commitments or suffer injury setbacks.

The ILT20 tournament moved to December, freeing overseas players for extended BBL participation. Head coach Tim Paine praised Lynn's batting skills and leadership qualities for developing squad members. Adelaide strengthened their roster by acquiring Jason Sangha and Mackenzie Harvey. Jake Weatherald transferred to Hobart Hurricanes while Brendan Doggett joined Melbourne Renegades. England all-rounder Jamie Overton will represent the Strikers after taking an indefinite break from Test cricket.
