Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson will pay a courtesy visit to King Misuzulu kaZwelithini at the KwaKhangela Royal Palace in Nongoma on Nov. 3, 2025, to brief him on plans for infrastructure delivery in KwaZulu-Natal. The agenda covers construction and maintenance projects, job creation through the Expanded Public Works Programme, and the forthcoming Social Facilitation Framework to speed project delivery. Macpherson will be joined by KwaZulu-Natal MEC Martin Meyer, IDT Chair Zimbini Hill, CIDB Chair Khulile Nzo, and CBE CEO Dr. Msizi Myeza. Officials say the meeting reflects a push to work with traditional leadership on inclusive growth.
