Malviya says Soros's US probe will burn India's opposition

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Malviya praised America's choice to examine billionaire George Soros for supporting demonstrations. The head of the BJP's National Information and Technology Department suggested Indian Opposition members might face a similar examination. Malviya stated that the probe could reach networks connected to foreign funding and associates of Soros within India. He claimed Opposition figures have created problems for eleven years by promoting division and weakening national stability. The investigation may expose their disruptive activities if facts guide the process.

Malviya referenced social media reports about President Donald Trump announcing potential racketeering investigations against Soros and his family members. The BJP official has repeatedly connected Opposition leaders to the billionaire philanthropist. He previously accused Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi of using Soros methods to create electoral confusion. Malviya argued Gandhi deliberately spreads conspiracy theories after election defeats to damage public trust in democratic institutions.
