Mandala says criminals use Machinga bars as a waiting room to strike

The deputy commissioner urged business operators to remain alert for suspicious individuals and report concerns to authorities. Willy Makawa responded on behalf of all bar and bottle store owners by expressing gratitude for the meeting. He pledged future compliance with licensing requirements and committed to supporting crime prevention through information sharing. Sub Inspector Masautso Katemera acknowledged the Officer in Charge for engaging with local businesses. The meeting strengthened cooperation between the police and the hospitality sector.
