A High Court judge has reversed an earlier ruling and released Nancy Kigunzu Indoveria, known as Mathe wa Ngara, on a half-million shillings bond with matching surety. Justice James Wakiaga approved the appeal and imposed conditions requiring monthly check-ins with investigators and a warning against further offenses during release.
The JKIA court had previously refused bond while releasing her two co-defendants, David Ochieng and Christopher Odipo, on bonds of one million shillings each. Lawyers Martina Swiga and Danstan Omari argued successfully for their client's release, promising compliance with court directives.
