Niger State put a nighttime ban on motorcycle taxis in the capital city Minna. Governor Bago made this rule at a meeting with local groups. He stopped all motorbikes between 6 pm through 6 am every night. The governor created this rule because crime caused deaths around town. Only people needing emergency medical help can use motorbikes during these hours.
