Mixbus 11 and Pro get slick console vibe upgrade

Harrison just released its latest music software, Mixbus 11. The new version keeps its console-like approach but sports a fresh look. Users will find the same Harrison 32C EQ they love alongside new features that make recording easier. The company offers two versions: regular Mixbus 11 and a Pro version for advanced audio work.

Mixbus 11 Pro targets professionals working with Dolby Atmos. It includes 3D panning tools, automation features, and support for various speaker setups. The Pro version also adds an SSL 9000J channel strip EQ option, which many engineers prefer. Both versions maintain the analog console feel that Harrison built its reputation on.

The standard version offers several improvements. Users will notice a cleaner interface with better transport controls and a new Focus Channel display. MIDI editing becomes simpler with dedicated piano roll windows. The software also adds per-region effects processing and real-time auditioning. Harrison includes 19 professional plugins covering EQ, dynamics, and reverb.

Both versions work on Windows 7 or newer and Macs running macOS 10.14 and above. The regular Mixbus 11 costs £39.99, including VAT. For those needing immersive audio capabilities, Mixbus 11 Pro costs £119.99, including VAT.
