Mnangagwa demands movements confront counter revolutionary foes

President Mnangagwa addressed Southern African liberation movement leaders at their summit yesterday. He urged former independence fighters to unite against counter-revolutionary threats targeting their political influence. The three-day meeting brought together six liberation parties from across the region. Zimbabwe's leader warned that foreign forces actively work to divide these movements through economic sabotage and political interference. He emphasized that liberation parties remain the most reliable drivers of regional development and stability.

The President highlighted Zimbabwe's village-based transformation strategy that targets rural communities with infrastructure projects. His government drills boreholes in villages while establishing agricultural business units to boost food security. Youth empowerment programs provide mining claims and farming equipment to young people entering these sectors. Women and veterans receive targeted support through various welfare initiatives. Zimbabwe expects six percent economic growth in 2025 through these policy reforms.

Mnangagwa called for stronger regional trade partnerships and preservation of liberation history for future generations.
