Moog drops free Messenger editor with deep patch control

Moog Music has released complimentary computer software that transforms how synthesizer owners interact with their screenless Messenger hardware through visual editing and comprehensive patch organization capabilities. The standalone application mirrors the instrument's physical interface while exposing hidden system parameters and providing graphical control over its 64-step sequencer with probability functions and modulation routing.

Registered owners can manage all 256 factory and user presets through drag-and-drop banking, searchable tagging systems and complete library backup functions via bidirectional USB synchronization. The manufacturer confirmed that plugin versions supporting digital audio workstation automation will arrive before year's end, expanding the editor beyond its current standalone configuration for Mac and Windows systems running recent operating systems.
