MSI's MPG COREFROZR AP15 with temp screen went on sale

MSI MPG COREFROZR AP15 air cooler features a built-in temperature display. This dual tower unit shows CPU plus GPU and DRAM readings simultaneously without software. China pricing sits at 549 yuan or roughly 82 dollars currently. CES 2026 introduced this model alongside the larger AP17 sibling for enthusiasts.

Six copper heatpipes connect to an asymmetrically offset tower design for memory clearance. Tall DIMM heatsinks fit under the front section without physical conflicts during installation. Two 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fans spin up to 2000 RPM in front and 1600 RPM middle. EZ Conn single cable integration carries both fan power and display signals together.

Total height reaches 168mm so case compatibility checks remain essential before buying. Mid tower chassis often max out around 160 to 170mm for cooler clearance. Socket support covers Intel LGA1851 plus LGA1700 and AMD AM5 or AM4 platforms. Five year warranty coverage backs this new release from MSI.

Display sensor sources and motherboard dependency lack confirmation in available reports. Non-MSI board behavior with EZ Conn remains completely unknown right now. Thermal performance data and TDP ratings have not been published yet by the manufacturer. Noise levels at full speed also require independent testing to validate acoustic claims.

Buyers should wait for measured results before comparing against other 168mm class dual tower options. Sustained load acoustics matter greatly since two fans spinning fast can get audible. The screen offers practical monitoring value beyond just aesthetic appeal. Real world cooling capability determines true worth more than specs alone.
