Naidu, Brahmani Nara celebrate Balakrishna's obscure UK award

The World Book of Records UK Gold Edition has recognized Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna for his five decades in cinema. He becomes the first Telugu performer to earn this distinction. Santosh Shukla from the organization praised his contributions as inspirational to millions worldwide. The recognition acknowledges Balakrishna as a golden benchmark in global cinema. His career spans an impressive 50 years as a leading performer.

Balakrishna began acting in 1974 with Tatamma Kala and has appeared in over 100 films. His filmography features notable works like Annadammula, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Daaku Maharaaj. The veteran actor received the Padma Bhushan award this April. He currently works on Akhanda 2 Thaandavam and plans future projects with Gopichand Malineni. Family members and political leaders have celebrated his historic achievement publicly.
