Nashua wedding turns deadly, one killed by shooter

Fatal violence erupted Saturday at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, killing one person and wounding multiple others. Assistant Attorney General Peter Hinckley confirmed that victims suffered both gunshot injuries and trauma from the resulting panic. The private facility was hosting a wedding celebration when the attack occurred near the Massachusetts border. Authorities detained one person of interest but made no formal arrests following the incident. Police initially suspected two shooters before surveillance footage revealed a single perpetrator.

State police joined local investigators while officials established a family reunification center at the nearby Sheraton Nashua hotel. Lawmakers from New Hampshire expressed sympathy for victims and praised emergency responders who handled the crisis. The country club operates as an exclusive venue offering golf and event services for weddings and large gatherings. Residents received warnings to avoid the Sky Meadow area while the investigation continues. The community remains shaken by this violence that struck the popular venue located forty-five minutes from Boston.
