Navrongo chiefs call out fake press stunt

The Navrongo Traditional Council said a recent press event held on April 16 was full of lies spread by fake people with selfish plans. They called it a false show meant to attack Navro-Pio Asagepare II and stop legal changes in traditional leadership. A person close to real traditional leaders explained that these troublemakers are not actual kingmakers or elders from Navrongo. These people work as paid agents who try to bully and mess with the Navrongo business.

According to the source, no chieftaincy problems exist in Navrongo. The only issue comes from people using the media unfairly to pretend they have authority when they do not belong there. The real kingmakers have publicly stated they had nothing to do with the fake event. They exposed it as a trick to fool the National House of Chiefs and everyone else in Ghana. Navro-Pio remains the only legal President of the Navrongo Traditional Council with power from custom and law.

The source firmly stated that pretenders will not take over Navrongo. Their traditions will not be ruined by small fights disguised as real concerns. They will not allow fake news to change facts just to please hidden, powerful people. The Council asks media and government offices to check information carefully before listening to unknown people who want to harm important cultural groups.
