NCP calls for justice, reform, and a new constitution in nationwide rallies

Nahid Islam leads his National Citizens Party across eight districts during a major tour. The party chief demands justice, reform and a brand new constitution for Bangladesh. His team visited every corner of Rangpur division from early July to spread their message. Students and workers gathered at each stop to hear Islam speak about building a better country. The crowds promised to support his vision of ending discrimination and fascism.

Islam started his walkathon at the grave of martyred student Abu Sayeed in Babanpur village. The young leader spoke with Abu Sayeed's family and promised to honor his memory. Abu Sayeed died during protests last July and sparked massive demonstrations across the nation. His death turned student protests into a countrywide uprising against Sheikh Hasina's government. Islam credits Abu Sayeed with inspiring the movement that toppled the former regime.

The NCP leader visited farmers, shopkeepers and laborers during his rural stops. He promised to eliminate regional gaps between rich and poor areas of Bangladesh. Islam wants the Teesta Master Plan implemented to help neglected communities like Kurigram. He told crowds that marginalized people must see real progress for the country to develop properly. The party leader warned against any delays to the July Declaration that outlines their reform plans.

Islam rejected the current constitution shaped by Awami League ideas and demanded a complete replacement. He said citizens deserve equal rights after sacrificing their lives during the uprising. The walkathon will continue across all 64 districts to gather support for constitutional change.
