Nigerian jets flatten terrorist boats in nighttime raid

The Air Force just turned terrorist boats into driftwood. The Nigerian Air Force hit insurgent positions in the riverine parts of Borno State's Kukawa area. Operation HADIN KAI conducted coordinated airstrikes against hideouts around Malimbe-Masaram Island and the Northern Tumbuns. Reports indicate several fighters from the JAS faction were neutralized, with their watercraft destroyed.

Precision munitions limited collateral damage during the engagement. Surviving fighters reportedly fled their positions toward the Abadam axis. Post-strike assessments showed the groups withdrawing in apparent disarray, their movements likely compromised. Surveillance efforts over the Lake Chad waterways have since increased to prevent retaliatory actions.

A separate air interdiction mission struck an enclave codenamed Rackstar in the Northern Tumbuns. This location served as a suspected ISWAP hideout for weapon maintenance and IED assembly. The strike degraded the group's operational logistics after reconnaissance revealed active structures and fighter gatherings.

These air operations aim to deny terrorist groups freedom of movement and sanctuary within the Lake Chad basin. The military continues efforts to dismantle logistical networks and fighter enclaves across the region.
