NMS thwarts Entebbe warehouse heist, no drugs lost

Thieves tried to raid the national pill stash but got absolutely wrecked instead. National Medical Stores teamed up with security agencies to crush a robbery attempt at their Entebbe facility yesterday. Internal guards noticed the intrusion and alerted Special Forces Command alongside Uganda Police Force to trap the goons before they could steal vital meds.

Five individuals allegedly participated in this failed mission. Three suspects are currently behind bars, while two others sustained injuries during the chaotic intercept and are receiving treatment under guard. Officials blocked off the scene to ensure investigations proceed without messing up evidence or losing inventory.

The organization stated that business continues normally across the nation despite the scare. Sheilla Nduhukire praised the rapid coordination that saved the stock from disappearing. This event underscores how desperate criminal gangs are becoming for medical commodities intended for public health centers.

NMS maintains that the supply chain is secure and intact. Protecting these warehouses is necessary since they hold drugs for the whole country. Swift action prevented what could have been a disaster for the healthcare system.
