Dayo Adeyeye from the Nigerian Ports Authority dropped some wild claims about security problems being cooked up by people trying to tank President Bola Tinubu before 2027 rolls around. The senator was getting an award at Obafemi Awolowo University when he said violence and kidnappings are definitely not random chaos but instead coordinated sabotage.
Adeyeye thinks the whole thing is going to blow up in the faces of whoever is behind it because Tinubu is already rolling out emergency security plans. He mentioned more police on the ground, better weapons, and states getting their police forces as fixes that could end the problem for good.
The former Works Minister seems pretty confident the president is treating this seriously and that the measures will work if they get implemented properly.
