Ogun Bureau of Lands Partners with NOA to Tackle Illegal Land Acquisition and Fraud

Ogun State land officials will team up with federal orientation workers to fight illegal property deals. The state Bureau of Lands and Survey announced the partnership after meeting with National Orientation Agency leaders. Officials want to stop land fraud and unauthorized building projects across the region. The collaboration aims to teach residents about legal ways to buy property. Many people lose money to fake land sellers because they lack proper information.

Architect Segun Fowora heads the land bureau and met with NOA Director Oyebisi Andrew at government offices. Fowora said most problems happen when buyers work with unverified agents or land speculators. The partnership will help educate the public about safe property purchase methods. Both agencies plan to share resources and information to protect citizens. A special task force already exists to handle illegal land activities.

Land consultant Fatai Adegboyega praised the new partnership between the two agencies. He promised the bureau would provide support and data when needed. The state government wants to reduce property crimes through better public education. Officials believe awareness campaigns can prevent people from falling victim to scams. Community cooperation will help spread important safety messages.

The orientation agency will work with local leaders and youth groups on the campaign. Director Andrew wants the information to reach every part of Ogun State. Community stakeholders will help deliver the message about legal land purchases. The program targets areas where property fraud happens most often. Officials hope widespread education will protect future property buyers from criminals.
