Ohanaeze Threatens Mob Igbo Youths Over Police Summon

Igbo youth leaders condemned police actions against a local government chairman. The group threatened massive protests if authorities continue harassing Chijioke Ezugwhile from Uzo-Uwani council. Armed herders killed many residents across the area during recent weeks. Local security forces strengthened protection for communities under attack. Police summoned the chairman and vigilante groups for questioning about dead herders.

Reports claim a northern police officer interrogated Ezugwile about killing armed attackers. Officers wanted to stop the chairman from removing criminals who posed as herders. Ohanaezhe Ndigbo Youth Council President Okwu Nnabuike called the police summons unacceptable. He demanded officers explain their reasons for targeting the chairman instead of arresting killers. Police never arrested herders who murdered dozens of innocent people across multiple villages.

Criminals kidnap residents daily and attack communities without police response. One case involved killers murdering a 90-year-old man and his wife. Vigilante groups stepped forward when police failed to protect their neighbors. Officers now threaten the same people who defended their communities from violence. Youth leaders warn they will organize protests if harassment continues against local defenders.
