Mr. Joel Ssenyonyi asked the government why they haven't moved NUP friends from army courts to normal courts yet. He leads people who don't like the current government.
The highest court told them on January 31 to move these files. Mr. Ssenyonyi feels upset because only a few people, like Dr. Kizza Besigye and Obeid Lutale, had their cases moved. Many others still wait.
"We want to know when the government will listen to what the Supreme Court said," Mr. Ssenyonyi said.
Mr. Jackson Kafuuzi, who helps with law matters, once told Parliament all files from army courts had already moved to normal courts. But Mr. Ssenyonyi says this isn't true. The government says one thing but does something different.
When Mr. Ssenyonyi asks for answers, the main party and those against it might fight more. The government must follow what the highest court ordered. Mr. Ssenyonyi wants the truth, which might start big talks about laws and rights in Uganda.
