Adewale Egbedun from the Osun State House of Assembly is telling Seyi Makinde from Oyo State to back off and stop trying to control their political scene. Egbedun made it clear that Makinde needs to find somewhere else to play his 2027 presidential games because Osun lawmakers are not having it.
The whole thing kicked off during some messy drama around the PDP primary elections. Egbedun says people claiming to be PDP members from Osun are basically frauds, and he is not about to let some governor from another state walk in and start calling shots. He pointed out that Osun has a full lineup of elected officials who won on PDP tickets, and they are legit members who will not be taking orders from outsiders.
Basically, Makinde can chase his presidential dreams elsewhere because Osun politicians are standing their ground.
