Pakistan and Vietnam Strengthen Halal Seafood Trade with New Agreement

Pakistan and Vietnam signed a major deal to boost their halal seafood business together. The two countries want to sell more fish and other sea products around the world. Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Anh Tuan met with Pakistani fish industry leaders to make this happen. They talked about ways to grow their trade partnership. The meeting took place with Pakistan Fisheries Exporters Association members and Marine Fisheries Department head Dr. Mansoor Ali Wassan.

Pakistani companies sold $9 million worth of seafood to Vietnam last year. This amount was 20 percent higher than what they sold the year before. The growth shows both countries can do even better together. Dr. Wassan spoke about how this trade keeps getting bigger each year. He thinks the new agreement will help both nations make more money from selling fish.

The deal focuses on halal seafood because many people around the world want to buy it. Both countries have good fishing industries that can meet this demand. The partnership will help them compete with other seafood sellers globally. Pakistani and Vietnamese companies will work together to catch and sell more fish. This cooperation could create jobs and bring more income to fishing communities.
