Parabat Express stalls at Shayestaganj, Uttam Kumar Deb

Railway services connecting Sylhet with other parts of Bangladesh resumed Sunday morning after mechanical problems disrupted transportation. The Parabat Express experienced engine trouble while approaching Shayestaganj Rail Junction in Habiganj district. Officials confirmed the locomotive breakdown occurred at approximately 11am on a bridge spanning the Khoai River. Railway authorities dispatched emergency assistance to address the stranded passenger service. Operations returned to normal around 2pm once crews successfully removed the disabled train from the tracks.
