PH launches manifesto with bold plans for Sabah’s future

Pakatan Harapan unveiled its electoral platform for the upcoming Sabah polls, centered on securing 40 percent of state revenues to fund infrastructure and development priorities. Sabah PKR chairman Datuk Mustapha Sakmud presented the seven-point agenda, which addresses longstanding deficiencies in water supply, roads, power networks, education and welfare programs while positioning the state as a regional economic force.

The coalition pledged administrative reforms and youth empowerment under what Mustapha termed a departure from conventional governance. He credited Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the first leader in five decades willing to resolve the Malaysia Agreement 1963 disputes. The alliance fields 21 candidates across 73 constituencies, with 12 from PKR, eight from DAP and one from Amanah.
