Pickering's Yorkville Sound claims new Paraline packs immense power

Yorkville Sound expands its Paraline series with four new powered enclosures that address customer requests for enhanced performance. The company designed these speakers for both ground-stacked configurations and flying installations. Engineers incorporated Tom Danley's Paraline Lens and Synergy Horn technologies to reduce comb filtering while improving efficiency and directional control. The PSA26 and PSA28 full-range models feature lightweight neodymium drivers with built-in tone shaping and integrated rigging systems. Two subwoofer models, the PSA15S and PSA18S, generate 3000 watts of peak power through their 15-inch and 18-inch drivers, respectively.

Yorkville manufactures all four models at its Pickering, Ontario, facility with IP54 weather protection ratings. Jeff Cowling, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, emphasized the series' adaptability from small venues to large touring systems. The speakers will debut at Atlantic City's DJX show before worldwide distribution begins during the summer of 2025. The company has not released pricing details for the new models. These additions complete Yorkville's response to market demands for scalable professional audio solutions.
