Porphyra Hybrid 1.2 Adds Filters Wavetables and New Presets

Ocean Swift just upgraded their Porphyra Hybrid synth for Kontakt 8 users. Version 1.2 comes free to everyone who already bought the instrument. The update packs tons of fresh content that musicians will love. They added Monark filter options with both lowpass and bandpass types. Players can explore 85 brand new wavetables for creating unique sounds.

The company loaded up this version with extra preset collections. Fernando Abreu created 107 new snapshots for immediate use. Yaron Eshkar contributed another 25 snapshots to expand the sound possibilities. Musicians can try 30 Combined Patterns Tool Multis plus 12 layered Multis ready for performance. The wavetable mod oscillator gained a helpful blend mode feature. Users can select white, pink, red, or tuned noise directly from the wavetable mod section.

The update fixed some annoying problems that bothered musicians. The wavetable mod tuning displays correctly when loading NKS2 settings. Several parameters showed up wrong before - bipolar controls appeared as unipolar in NKS2 interface elements. These fixes make everything work smoothly for keyboard players creating music with Porphyra Hybrid.
