Poultry Hatchery Fires Up Manicaland Women

ZANU PF leader Mabel Chinomona started a chicken hatchery project for women in Mutasa District today. She spoke at Kukwanisa Training Center about helping women earn money through raising chickens. The Senate President wants all areas to grow together toward middle-income status by 2030. The machine makes 3600 baby chicks every 21 days for women across the area. The party also gave out 5000 chickens and 52 sewing machines to help local women.

Chinomona told women they need ways to feed their families without depending on husbands. Local chairwoman Dorothy Mabika thanked the party for the project that helps reach national goals. She called the hatchery a major change for women in the area. Mabika asked everyone to stay together and use the project well. She believes women can improve their money situation through this program.
