Children of War Veterans Wrap Up Manicaland Revamp

Children of war veterans groups finished restructuring all seven districts in Manicaland. The nationwide effort aims to build stronger local teams.

District elections took place across the region during recent weeks. Leaders completed the final district vote in Zimunya-Marange last Sunday. Many members participated in choosing new representatives for their areas.

Senior party officials attended the final election event, showing support for the association. With internal changes now complete, the group plans to help members succeed economically. They want to follow national goals for making Zimbabwe prosperous by 2030.

The new district structure will improve communication with local members. The association wants to start community projects that create income for veterans' children and work with government ministries on youth programs.

Leaders continue pushing for policies that address the needs of liberation war heroes. They believe their contributions to national history deserve recognition and support. The restructuring creates a foundation for a better grassroots organization.
