Special Presidential Adviser Dr. Paul Tungwarara leads the initiative and promises to expand it across all regions of the country. "We continue moving forward to reach every war veteran through this beneficial scheme," Dr. Tungwarara explained. "The President's programs remain essential for modernizing our nation and building industries everywhere." Veterans have begun applying for separate financial support through the Presidential War Veterans Fund, which contains $1.5 million in revolving loans. Each province receives $150,000 to distribute among qualified applicants who submit requests through their local district offices. President Mnangagwa created this fund specifically to improve living conditions for veterans and their widows.
After establishing small businesses with these loans, recipients must pay back the borrowed money to keep the fund active for future applicants. Officials will evaluate the program regularly and may increase funding based on how faithfully borrowers repay their loans.
