Queens Sports Grounds Clear for Bulawayo Show

Queens Sports Club just cleared things up about the big party happening there. They said yes, they can totally hold the Bulawayo Shutdown Show at their grounds. The club runs these sports fields. They spoke up because Zimbabwe Cricket told everyone they had nothing to do with this huge show planned for April next year.

The club explained everything on Saturday. Their deal with Zimbabwe Cricket lets them use the place for fun events, not just cricket games. This agreement runs out when December ends. The club felt upset that cricket bosses went public without talking to them first, which created confusion among people who care about both groups.

The club wants everyone to know they fixed any problems with this party years ago. They set up good rules to make sure everything runs smoothly. They pointed out something interesting - Zimbabwe Cricket has held parties there before without asking permission. Sometimes, these cricket folks never even paid for using the grounds.

The Queens Sports Club seems pretty annoyed that cricket leaders made such a fuss. They believe they have every right to let people party at their fields. After all, they're the landlords, not Zimbabwe Cricket. The club clearly thinks the cricket group should have talked things through before making public statements that confused everyone.

Both sides need to work together better. The club believes this show can happen without problems. They've managed similar events before. The cricket bosses might worry about field damage, but the club feels confident in their plans. This disagreement shows how sharing sports spaces can create tension when communication breaks down between partners.
