Radio Star Demands Longer Weekends for Ghanaians

Radio host Nana Romeo Welewele wants Ghana to move public holidays to Mondays or Fridays. The Okay FM presenter believes workers need longer weekends to rest properly after tough work schedules. Many people work five days straight and some even add weekends to their jobs. Welewele says holidays that fall during the middle of work weeks just tease tired employees. Moving these special days would give everyone more time to relax and recharge their energy.

The radio personality compared exhausted workers to someone looking for their phone that sits right inside their pocket. People become too tired to think clearly when they never get enough rest from their jobs. Longer weekends would help Ghanaians tackle life with fresh energy and better attitudes. Workers deserve more time away from their jobs to enjoy life and spend time with family. The drive time host thinks his plan would make everyone happier and more productive.
