Rajasthan Royals dump Dishant Yagnik, Dravid gone

Rajasthan Royals terminated their association with fielding coach Dishant Yagnik ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League season. Sources confirmed the separation occurred weeks earlier but became public recently. The former domestic player served the franchise as a team member from 2011 to 2014 before returning as fielding coach in 2018. His departure follows head coach Rahul Dravid's exit after a disappointing campaign.

The team finished ninth place with four victories from 14 league matches during IPL 2025. Yagnik will join Jammu and Kashmir's domestic coaching staff after helping them reach Ranji Trophy quarterfinals previously. Captain Sanju Samson's future remains uncertain amid reports of his reluctance to continue. Former India spinner Sunil Joshi may join BCCI's Centre of Excellence.
