Raza’s Warriors sink again, the captain can’t stop the slide

Sikandar Raza and his Sharjah Warriors squad got wrecked again in the International League T20 after the Gulf Giants beat them by six wickets. The Zimbabwe T20I skipper put up three runs before getting trapped lbw, and his team posted just 157 batting first before the Giants chased it down with two balls left.

Raza came in when things were already sketchy at 94 for four, and he lasted seven deliveries before Liam Dawson sent him packing. Dwaine Pretorius salvaged some dignity with an unbeaten 36 off 17 balls to push the total past 150, while Aayan Afzal Khan grabbed three wickets for the opposition.

The captain had a better showing with the ball, nabbing two wickets for 20 runs and removing both James Vince and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. The Warriors are sitting dead last with zero points after three straight losses, and they face the Mumbai Indians Emirates next.
