Razer PC Remote Play lets gamers game on the move

Razer just released its PC Remote Play service, which lets gamers stream PC games to phones, tablets, or Windows handhelds. The system delivers games at full frame rates without black bars, showing crisp visuals on mobile screens. After successful beta testing at CES 2025, the official version brings a new interface through Razer Cortex PC. It works with all mobile gaming controllers for iOS or Android systems. The service includes AV1 video coding that cuts lag time during play.

The platform supports Razer Kishi controllers along with any iOS or Android-compatible game controllers. iPad users can also connect keyboards, mice, or trackpads. All PC games appear inside Razer Nexus, where players can browse, set up controls, record gameplay, or launch games directly from mobile devices. The system adjusts to each screen's highest resolution automatically. Android users with Razer Kishi Ultra controllers feel realistic vibrations during gameplay.

Setup requires installing Razer Nexus and PC Remote Play on mobile devices. Users also need to turn on Remote Play in Razer Cortex on their computers. The service currently runs with Steam, Epic Games, and PC Game Pass on iOS 18, Android 14+, Windows 10, and 11. Gamers can download the app from the App Store or Google Play stores.
