Rigathi Gachagua storms Seattle with first DCP satellite office launch

Rigathi Gachagua established the Democracy for the Citizens party's inaugural international presence with the opening of a North Pacific Chapter office in Seattle, Washington. The former Deputy President announced this development during his ongoing United States tour, which represents his first overseas travel since his removal from office in October 2024. Gachagua departed Kenya on July 9 for what he described as a comprehensive two-month engagement across American cities. The Seattle facility will serve as a permanent base for connecting with Kenyan expatriates throughout the Pacific Northwest region. This expansion demonstrates his political organization's commitment to maintaining ties with diaspora communities.

The political leader has scheduled appearances in Dallas, California, Boston, and Baltimore as part of his extensive American itinerary. Each location will host town hall forums and community gatherings designed to advance his political platform among overseas supporters. Gachagua conducted his initial formal diaspora meeting in Seattle on July 12, describing the session as both frank and constructive. Participants demonstrated remarkable openness when discussing pressing national concerns affecting their homeland. The former Deputy President expressed enthusiasm about continuing these substantive conversations throughout his remaining American engagements.
