Rology lands growth cash, AI reads scans for underserved regions

Rology, a teleradiology platform using AI, secured a growth funding round with some big names involved. Investors include the Philips Foundation, Johnson & Johnson Impact Ventures, and Sanofi's Global Health Unit. The CEO is Amr Abodraiaa.

This company provides remote radiology reports across twelve specialties. Their FDA-cleared system works in over three hundred hospitals across thirteen countries. It claims to save money and deliver results in under half an hour.

The funding follows expansion in Saudi Arabia and Kenya. Rology has eight AI tools for disease reporting and workflow. Backers say the tech helps fix radiologist shortages, especially in remote or underserved areas. Company leadership stated the money will boost their reach in Africa and the Middle East.
