National Award-winning director Pradeep Advaitham's period sports drama Champion will release worldwide on Dec. 25. Zee Studios South announced the release date on Monday through social media platforms. The film stars Roshan in the lead role as an intense football player who takes a courageous stand against British colonial rule.
The production brings together Swapna Cinemas, Anandi Art Creations, Concept Films, and Zee Studios as joint producers. Cinematographer R. Madhi captured the pre-independence era essence, while Mickey J. Meyer composed the music score. National Award-winning art director Thota Tharani handled production design, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited the film.
